R. Douglas Parker
Senior Vice President, CFO
Mr. Parker has held senior executive financial and
operational positions in a broad range of industries spanning a thirty-year
career. Mr. Parker has extensive experience in all aspects of financial
reporting and corporate governance including organizing, development and
implementation of controls and procedures to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley
public reporting requirements.
Prior to joining IIBEX as SVP/CFO, Mr. Parker served as Consultant Chief
Financial Officer and COO of Tribute Direct, Inc. (Houston, Texas). Mr.
Parker planned and executed a multi-phased capital financing program to fund
and launch operations of a direct response marketing company designed to dis-intermediate
both products and services in the funeral industry. Additionally, Mr. Parker
developed Tribute’s internal operations, warehouse/distribution operations
and outsourced its call center.
In 2003, Mr. Parker served as Consultant to EPCglobal., Inc. (Houston,
Texas) where he implemented performance and operations improvement in
multi-location environments. Mr. Parker served as CEO/President at Pliant
Technologies, Inc. (Houston, Texas) where he created and implemented the
company’s first sales and marketing plan, and developed operation’s
procedures and customer service infrastructure.
From 1995 to 2002, Mr. Parker held a number of executive financial and
operational positions during his senior leadership with FS Strategies/Talent
Tree (Houston, Texas). He led the team responsible for over 100 direct and
indirect reports covering four divisions in all areas of finance,
accounting, IT, payroll, risk management, legal and human resources. While
at FS Strategies/Talent Tree, Mr. Parker successfully led the team which
completed the due diligence, financial structuring, pricing, negotiations,
and integration of four strategic acquisitions for the company. During his
tenure, Mr. Parker upgraded the accounting system, reduced expenses through
contract negotiation, implementation of expense/purchasing controls and
process performance metrics. He also reduced Days Sales Outstanding, over 90
day receivables to less than one percent, and planned and incorporated a
corporate restructure reducing state taxes by $7 million over five years.
Mr. Parker is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an undergraduate
degree in Accounting as well as a Masters in Finance and Taxation from the
University of Houston.
